Is there any place cozier than Ironforge?

I know, the sound of pounding metal and boiling lava rivers doesn’t exactly scream “welcome home”. But there’s something undeniably comfy about living inside of a mountain.

They have it pretty good in their private underground dwellings. Even by Dwarven measures, the city is roomy, warm, and offers travelers a deluxe variety of inns, shops, and mercantiles to explore.

And it’s been a safe haven of peace for the past several years (and you know I love my relaxing zones).

That’s why it’s a great place to rest your head, or host your next RP!

So this week, I decided to comb the city and compile a list of my most recommended stays for your next all-inclusive Ironforge sleepover.

5. Traveler’s flat in front of the flight master

Number 5 on our list is a two-story state-of-the-art flat in the heart of the city. It includes an (arguably) one-person bed and small dining table on the first floor. Upstairs you’ll find a wide view of the inner district and The Great Forge.

The Great Forge

The biggest plus about this flat is definitely the location. At the center of the city, it’s the perfect layover for the adventurer on-the-go, and great for last-minute stays. Just leap off the flight path and jump right into bed. Plus you’re right next to the Cask N’ Anvil restaurant if you want to grab a bite (and it never seems to be very busy).

4. Corner apartment in The Military Ward

Next up we’ve got a charming little vacant apartment is tucked away in the southwest corner of The Military Ward. Admittedly, this place is pretty identical to the apartment by the fight path.

However! This one is flanked by Timberline Arms and Craghelm’s Plate and Chain. So if you or your friends need armor or weapons at 3 in the morning, you don’t need to walk far.

This also makes it a great spot to roleplay war or work-related scenes, if that’s your thing.

And don’t forget, this location comes with your own personal body guard! So it’s a really safe place to chillax.

3. Private home in south corner of The Hall of Explorers

This deluxe two-story home is located across from the Hall of Explorers HQ.

This house is a great place to host large groups, because it’s in a quiet part of the city and has an extra-large first floor living room.

Upstairs you’ll find a cozy drawing room with sitting chairs, snacks, and plenty of books to pass the time with.

I recommend this cool spot if you’re planning a house party RP (I’d also recommend sending me an invite, cause that sounds fun!).

2. Flipped-design house in The Mystic Ward

Number 2 is a neat spot located in the walkway leading from The Great Forge to The Mystic Ward. Note that there are two vacant houses here, and my review will cover the one closest to the district center.

The balcony in The Mystic Ward Apartment

This house is a personal favorite of mine because of the interesting “flipped” design style with the bedroom placed downstairs. Plus, who doesn’t dig that spacious front patio?

It also features a fully-interactive 4-seat dining table upstairs for taking meals or planning your next road trip.

Downstairs you’ll find the bed, a pantry, more seating, and a plush bearskin rug that really ties the place together.

There’s also this unexplained robotic arm tucked away amongst the boxes.

1. Modern condo in the southeast Ironforge Commons

Number one on the list is, well, number one! I love the way this house is decorated, and it’s my favorite uninhabited place to sleepover in Ironforge.

The interior features elements of that classic Dwarven style at every corner.

I also like how the bed is tucked aside from the main entryway, providing extra privacy for your relaxing getaway. Overall, the location, design, and amenities of this home make it more than worth the trip.
